Mt. Hope is the final resting place of feminist icon, Susan B. Anthony the suffragette, Frederick Douglass the abolitionist, and Nathaniel Rochester the founder of Rochester NY.

Mount Hope is an active cemetery, with over 350,000 souls currently buried within, a number greater than the population of the city of Rochester. Founded in 1838, it was the first municipal cemetery in the United States, and there are many rumors of it being haunted.
